2025 Partner Event CEBA Mission to MONGOLIA
The real highlight of our mission is the meeting with Mr. Tsogtbaatar Damdin, Member of the State Great Hural, Chair of the Legal Standing Commitee.The meeting took place on September 11th, at the MP's office, located at the remarkable building of the Mongolian Parliament. The meeting was also attended by Mrs. Ulziituya Ulziikhuu, Assistant to D. Tsogtbaatar.The almost two hours discussion included Mongolia-Canada emerging opportunities in business, education and trade.

Amazing day, meeting with our Mongolian partner since 2022 Orgil Uud Temuulekh NGO, chairwoman Ariuntungalag Boldsaikhan and Amar Bayasgalan Binderiya, a partner, with whom we have accomplished several very successful short term internship programs, bringing employees of Mongolian Parliament, and representatives of business, and Academia to learn about Canadian governance, education, interperenship and international trade.

Canadian Embassy reception, September 10, 6pm, Blue Sky Tower. Reception started with welcome remarks by newly appointed Ambassador of Canada His Excellency Stephen Doust.During his speech the Ambassador highlighted benefits of Mongolian market as well as importance of mutual Canada and Mongolia relations and developing business contacts. He also mentioned Canadian companies, who came to Mongolia Mining week, including CEBA, NESS, POLICORP. Reception had warm and informal relaxing atmosphere, participants were making new contacts, having great time with old partners and friends

Second half of the day we spent with Mongol Textile, manufacturer of good quality cashmere, wool and yak down products. Visit started with short, but interesting and informative tour around the factory, continued in a factory store where we had a chat with the charming Executive Director Mrs. Mandukhai Sukhbaatar. Discussed opportunities to assist Mongol Textile in entering Canadian and Eurasian markets.

2025 Partner Event CEBA Mission to MONGOLIA
Very busy day. On a first half of the day three meetings were attended. The first one with Mr. Sanjaasuren.M Freight Manager in charge of HSE of UBTRANS, freight and logistic company. The meeting was organized with an assistance of the Trade Commissioners Services division of the Canadian Embassy to Mongolia and jointly attended by the Trade Commissioner Ms. Tsolmon Gantuya. The second meeting, with Mrs. Zandan Bilegt, Head of Communication division Government implementing Investment and Trade Agency, attended also by Mrs. Erdenebayar Ochirbat, Head of Trade Promotion Division. This very informative gathering is arranged for CEBA by the Embassy of Mingolia to Canada. Discussed opportunities of introducing Mongolian business into Canadian market, using capacities of Tradestar. CEBA and Investment and Trade Agency agreed on cooperation on multiple projects, including exchange of business delegations. One possibility of such exchange maybe a visit of Mongolian group to the CEBA Eurssian Mining Conference in Vancouver on the margins of AME BC Roundup 2026.The nxt meeting was held in the office of another logistics company - SBL with Mr. Nyamsuren.B. the meeting also arranged by the Embassy of Canada to Mongolia. Discussed benefits of working with Trade Star for Mongolian companies willing to be involved in delivery their goods into Canada. Potantial partnership with Trade Star is to be discussed after this business mission is complete.

2025 Partner Event CEBA Mission to MONGOLIA
One of the meetings on this day: held in the office of Monos Foods JSC, in ECO Tower in a heart of Ulanbaatar. Manos Foods is a Manufacturer of line of food supplements, based on local organic products, designed to support immunity and health of human body (especially those, working in Mining and similar industries). Out role was to present TradeStar and discuss opportunities and channels to get their product into Canadian market. We also discussed some emerging opportunities in Eurasia.

The online session “UNLOCK YOUR MEMBERSHIP POTENTIAL"
The online session “UNLOCK YOUR MEMBERSHIP POTENTIAL,” organized by the Canada-Eurasia Business Alliance (CEBA) with Armenian partners at the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Trade and Economy (CECTE), took place successfully on July 31st. The event launched a member awareness program for Armenian companies that joined CECTE since June 2025. Led by Arshak Khudaverdyan, COO and Secretary General, the session brought together participants interested in collaborating with Canada across multiple sectors such as trade, mining, IT, tourism, sustainable development, public media, education, and law. This webinar follows up on the “Canadian information center” introduced at CECTE's inaugural event on June 9th, 2025, in Yerevan. CEBA is actively opening doors for companies seeking guidance on market entry strategies, leveraging the expertise of leading professionals in international trade regulations, such as those at Miller Thomson LLP. A highlight of the webinar was the participation of Dan Kiselbach, Managing Partner of the Vancouver office and founder of the Trade Star customs brokerage platform for international suppliers. Dan offered participants a comprehensive overview of the Canadian market landscape, highlighting key features of its sectors and pointing to compelling new opportunities for international partnerships.“Today is the best time to enter the Canadian market,” Dan emphasized. “Now, amid trade wars and unpredictable tariffs, Canada is eager to forge new alliances with partners around the world—including those in Eurasia.” His insights resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom expressed a keen interest in exploring collaborative ventures that could benefit both Canadian and Eurasian economies. This successful event marked not only the beginning of promising new business relationships, but also underscored CEBA’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, sustainable progress, and mutual understanding across borders. 2025 Partner Event “Canada - EURASIA CHAMBER of TRADE and ECONOMY (CECTE) Inaugural event YEREVAN, ARMENIA June 9th 2025
Our current trip to Yerevan brings more and more exiting results. First was an official launch of the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Trade and Economy (CECTE) on June 9th, held in collaboration with Canadian Embassy to Armenia and gathered over 50 leading Armenian companies and organizations, 14 of which signed up for the membership at the event.
Among notable speakers to mention a few: Vardges Avagyan, The President of CECTE, Andrew Turner - Ambassador of Canada to the republic of Armenia, Tatiana Domilovskaya - President of Canada-Eurasia Business Alliance (CEBA) and KNOWLEX International Partnership, Konstantin Barabash - Vice President of CEBA.It is followed by series of meetings with new CECTE members . The one we held today was the visit to Matena - the new generation Executive MBA school in Armenia providing exceptional opportunities for business professionals to advance their knowledge and capabilities learning from the best of international experts.An extremely productive meeting with Co-Founder and CEO, D. Sc. in Economics, Ruben Hayrapetyan, open broad horizons for cooperation with Canada-Eurasia Business Alliance (CEBA) in assisting Matena expand international presence and include Canadian expertise in business and industry into the scope of knowledge offered to the Matena students.

2025 Partner event held by Canada-Eurasia Business Alliance
The CEO of DAMU, Murat Bapayev, and the Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Canada, Bakhtiyar Kazhmazhar, visited Vancouver from May 26 to 29 to attend the Vancouver Web Summit and a program organized by the CEBA team on the sidelines of this event. The CEBA program included a meeting with Sara Clark, a representative of the BC Provincial Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, as well as a roundtable with the BC business community hosted by Miller Thomson LLP, attended by the number of local investors, marketing and financial institutions, such as BDC, Gobi Energy Metals, AFK Mining Services, East to West Marketing and few others. This was the first event held under the CEBA Umbrella in Vancouver.The meetings were productive and opened new perspectives for bilateral cooperation. We hope to continue discussions about collaboration between CEBA and DAMU later this year in Almaty and anticipate positive outcomes from these engagements.

2025 2nd online seminar on "Practical Guide on Trading with Canada"
Our 2nd online seminar on "Practical Guide on Trading with Canada" was successfully completed. Event partners: CECTE ( Armenia, Yerevan), MILLER THOMPSON, (Vancouver, BC, CANADA) and CEBA (Vancouver, Canada).
The first online meeting of the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Commerce and Economy took place yesterday, which was attended by 22 members of the Chamber. The Canadian side introduced Armenian partners to the general economic situation, the registration procedure of importing firms, the required documents, the options to find potential buyer-partners, market interests, etc.Due to the volume of questions, it was decided to again hold an online meeting on trade-economic issues on Friday 04.04.2025, at 18-30.
During which the questions on the Canadian market were discussed.
An agreement was reached to start a pilot program with the participation of 1-3 companies that will provide export of their products to the Canadian market for our entrepreneurs to operate in that market

2025 FOSTERING CANADA-EURASIA COMMERCE
KNOWLEX International Partnership and the Canada-Eurasia Business Alliance conducted two successful back-to-back events last week, demonstrating their commitment to fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange. The events included a visit by a delegation of Mongolian businessmen and an online seminar on trading with Canada for Armenian producers of food and beverages.🫠 A small delegation of Mongolian businessmen, including representatives from the government, construction, and healthcare sectors, visited Vancouver on from March 28th to April 4th within professional knowledge exchange program initiated by KNOWLEX International and ORGIL UUD TEMUULEKH NGO (Mongolia) in 2022. The group came to learn from the Canadian best practices in ESG, occupational safety, and education and to identify mutual interests for trade and technology transfer.During the three-day program the group was warmly received by the notable entities:· City Council of Surrey, led by Counselor Mrs. Linda Annis and her team· BC Provincial Government led by Ken Ewan from the BC Ministry of Jobs, Innovation and Economic Development, Jorge Freitas from the Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals and Jennifer Horseman from the ESG Center of ExcellenceAdditionally, they had productive meetings at:· UBC Global Partner Relations team and Peter A. Allard School of Law· Alexander Academy, organized by the Director of admissions and international development, Mrs. Berenice Lewis· Miller Thomson LLP, organized by Managing Partner – Vancouver office, Daniel Kisselbach and his team· CyberPatient, with the Founder and President, Prof. Karim Qayumi, famous for development and implementation of the AI powered educational system for the healthcare professionals in Canada and internationally🫷 An online seminar aimed at Armenian food producers took place on April 4th. This session was a follow up of the introductory session conducted the managing Partner of Miller Thomson LLP-Vancouver, Daniel Kiselbach, well known for his expertise in developing international trade. The session was focused on "Trade Star" the new AI powered platform for trading with Canada.The session is organized in partnership with the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Trade and Economy in Armenia (President, Dr. Vardges Avagyan) and provided valuable insights and practical knowledge to help Armenian businesses navigate the Canadian market.Key topics of the seminar included:· "Trade Star" introduction and requirements for usage · Market entry strategies and current opportunities in CanadaThe expected practical implementation of the two-seminar sessions will be a pilot project for launching selected export-ready Armenian company in Canadian market.

2025 Round Table “Canada - Central Asia Cooperation in Mining (Kazakhstan and Mongolia)
The 2025 Round Table “Canada - Central Asia Cooperation in Mining (Kazakhstan and Mongolia) successfully went on January 23rd, 2025, at Miller Thomson LLP. This was the 14th gathering of the mining professionals involved with Central Asia region conducted on the margins of Association of Mineral Explorations Roundup in Vancouver. Event was attended by over 50 participants from Canada, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, including mining investors and suppliers, educational and financial institutions, government organizations and professional associations.Among the other participants included B2Gold, Arras Minerals, Gobi Energy Metals, ME Elecmetal, National Emergency Security Services, National Geological Survey of Canada (National Resources of Canada), Erdenet Mining Corp., National Geological Survey of Mongolia, TRIGTEQ LLC, Max Group (Mongolia), National Atomic Company Kazatomprom (Kazakhstan). The Embassy of Kazakhstan presented information about the national mining sector ibn online format.The topics of presentations and discussions covered current status of the mining industry in critical minerals sector in two major markets of Central Asia – Mongolia and Kazakhstan, Canadian experience of entering the Kazakhstan mining projects, available mining assets in Mongolia, as well as major issues of mining industry such as resource management, safety and environment.
